Gallery Completion & Post-Production Editing

In rare, unfortunate, situations, couples are left with unedited image files after their photographer is unable to complete the final gallery. If you have received RAW or unedited photos but not a finished album, I offer independent post-production editing to help you finally have a cohesive, viewable set of memories from your day.

This service is intended for couples who already have image files but never received a finished gallery.

This may be appropriate for you if:
• Your photographer released RAW or unedited images instead of a completed gallery
• A business closure or unexpected circumstance prevented final delivery
• You received thousands of files and don’t know how to sort or edit them
• Your images were partially delivered but the full gallery was never completed
• You have older wedding image files that were never processed

Aesthetic Direction

If you received preview or sneak peek images, you’re welcome to share them. I can use those as visual references to guide overall tone and consistency so your final gallery feels cohesive rather than disconnected.

If preview images are not available, you may share a mood board or example images that reflect the general aesthetic you prefer. A single, consistent editing approach will be applied across the gallery.

Please note: All edits are an independent interpretation and are not an exact recreation of another photographer’s artistic process.

What this service includes:

• Review and organization of all provided image files
• Professional culling and selection of the strongest images
• Global color correction and exposure balancing
• A cohesive, consistent editing approach across lighting conditions
• High-resolution export
• Private online gallery delivery

Investment:

Gallery Completion & Post-Production Editing
$1000 plus tax

• 50% non-refundable retainer to begin
• 50% due prior to final gallery delivery

Because I know many couples in this situation have already experienced financial loss, this service is structured as a discounted flat fee rather than traditional wedding photography pricing.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Wedding Gallery Completion is an independent post-production editing service for couples who received RAW or unedited image files but did not receive a finished gallery. I professionally organize, curate, and edit the images you were provided so you have a cohesive set of photos ready to download, share, and print.

  • If you received preview or sneak peek images before your final gallery was delivered, those images can be helpful as visual references. I can review them to understand the general tone, color balance, and overall feel you were originally expecting, and then create a cohesive, professionally edited gallery from your remaining files.

Preview images are used only as aesthetic references. Final edits are an independent interpretation and will not be an exact replication of the original photographer’s editing process.

I completely understand wanting things to feel like what you were originally expecting. While I can’t recreate another photographer’s exact process, using your preview images as a reference allows me to deliver a gallery that feels cohesive and intentional rather than disjointed or unfinished. My goal is for the photos to feel like a complete set, not a random collection of edits.

  • Yes — creating a cohesive and natural-looking gallery is the primary goal of this service. Images are carefully curated and edited so they feel like a complete set rather than a mix of unfinished files.

  • Yes. I only work on image files that have been released to you by your photographer or that you have clear legal rights to use. I will ask for confirmation or documentation before beginning any project.

  • RAW image files are preferred because they allow the greatest flexibility in producing a consistent and natural final gallery.

  • You will receive a curated selection of the strongest and most representative images from the files provided. Not every photo captured will be edited or delivered.

  • This service is not a replacement for wedding photography coverage and does not recreate the original photographer’s artistic process. I cannot add missing moments, change poses, or guarantee specific images were captured. The goal is to produce a polished, cohesive gallery from the images already taken so you have lasting memories from your day.

  • Global adjustments are applied to all delivered images to create a cohesive finished gallery. Detailed retouching such as object removal, body modification, or extensive skin retouching is not included. I like to keep things as natural as they appeared on your day. If there is anything specific you would like me to consider while editing (think groom had a large pimple show up the morning of the wedding) please let me know and I can try my best to accommodate your request to!

  • I sure do!

Because I was not the original photographer, I do not publicly display client wedding images from gallery completion projects.

However, I can share a private demonstration gallery upon request so you can see how unedited files are curated and professionally processed into a cohesive final gallery. This allows you to understand the results while respecting client privacy.

  • Turnaround time is typically 4–8 weeks depending on the number of files and editing complexity.

  • Yes. You will receive a private online gallery where you can view and download high-resolution images suitable for printing and sharing.

  • No. Your images remain private and are not used publicly by me as I am not the original photographer.

If you choose to credit me when sharing, images may be described as:
“Edited by Hannah Hoover Photography from client-provided files.”
